Join JFCS to kick off National Mental Health Awareness Month as we move for mental health awareness and the importance of access to affordable mental health and social services for all in our area. Race With A View helps to fund vital mental health and support services provided by JFCS of Long Beach/West Orange County. We serve children, families and individuals, without regard for religion, race, socioeconomic status, or immigration status. Now in its 35th year, Race With A View is a 5K/10K walk or run along the beautiful downtown Long Beach waterfront, starting at Pierpoint Landing. While enjoying the lovely view and Southern California weather, you are also helping to sustain JFCS as we help those most in need in our local community.
The race is open to walkers and runners of all ages, both serious runners and novices. The Early Bird Registration is $30 per person; Regular Registration, $35; Students, $20; and Teams of 3-10, $25 per person. The event will be professionally timed! All participants will receive a Race With A View t-shirt and the first 250 finishers will also receive a race medal.
Your participation with us will make a difference in continuing our services and improving the mental health of the most vulnerable in our community. We look forward to seeing you on race day!
